I happened upon your web page just now and thoght that I'd tell you what. I thought of the school. I was there for two weeks in November 1977. Baden-Powell is a superb setting for learning Spanish. Having attended Spanish language schools in both Ecuador and Guatemala, I would say that your school is the best of the four that I have attended. The staff was excellent and the teaching method the best that I have seen. Our tour to Patzcuaro and to the trout farm was a marvelous experience. My homestay with Irma and Dr. Vicente Carillo was also truly memorable. They are kind and wonderful people. My best to all at the school. I hope to return soon to refresh my knowledge of your beautiful language.

Morelia is truly a cultural haven! and I truly appreciated that there were indeed very few tourists. It is a great atmosphere for practicing one“s Spanish and not having to be tempted to speak English. I was given a sufficient amount of homework for reinforcement of the day's lessons and also felt a very strong sense of support, encouragement, and a non - judgemental atmopshere.

My teachers were always on time and came to class very well prepared. The family I stayed with was a pleasant surprise. Each meal we would all sit around and talk for at least an hour.

I found virtually all of the instructors to be outstanding. I was very impressed with their sophisticated knowledge of Spanish grammar and clear teaching presentations. I had a very successful stay with my host family in Morelia.
